Community Service

HikeFinder.com and MauiRunner.com have started getting active into our community through different service projects.
  • At HikeFinder, we've got into helping the Kapalua Land Company by attending different service trips into the Puu Kukui Preserve or along the Honolua Coastline.  They have all types of different opportunities like replanting native forests, beach cleanups, or just simple weed pulling, every little bit counts right!  All trips end with a rewarding hike on their trail system from a knowledgeable guide.
If you want to help, contact Megan Webster by emailing her: mwebster@mlpmaui.com.  REAL nice person you'll lover her.  Meet new people, get some work in, and feel great about it afterwards is what it's all about!  Here are some more photos of Puu Kukui via their Facebook.

    • At MauiRunner, we helped out to measure the course for Will's 5k and 2k runs held on June 5, 2011.  We're slowly getting more involved to make every race on Maui more accurate and popular by following USATF Guidelines.  We're under the learning curve, but we're hoping whatever races we do can be certified by the USATF itself.
